388 Marine Coolant & Wet Exhaust 388 Marine Coolant & Wet Exhaust hose is designed for straight connections in engine cooling systems and marine wet exhaust applications. It offers the same reliable features as the 381, but without the helix wire reinforcement. Its wire-free construction makes 388 particularly useful where installation space is limited or where a wire-reinforced hose cannot be compressed enough to fit between connection points. 388 meets SAE J2006 Type R1 specifications for marine wet exhaust hose. Note: For extreme-temperature applications, Silicone Coolant Hose is recommended. Construction TUBE Smooth, black, heat and antifreeze resistant SBR rubber. REINFORCEMENT Plies of synthetic fabric. COVER Black, heat and weather resistant SBR rubber with wrapped finish. TEMPERATURE RANGE -30°C (-22°F) to 100°C (212°F). ORIGIN Made in Italy.
