Type 1 Propane / Natural Gas Hoses We offer a variety of Type 1 propane and natural gas hoses in pre-made, factory-tested assemblies. Custom lengths are available upon request. We also carry a selection of fittings to help connect hoses to supply sources and equipment. Arctic Propane Hose is designed for the transfer of liquefied propane and meets Canadian Gas Association (CGA) requirements, including CAN/CGA-8.1-M86 Type 1. Its excellent low-temperature flexibility makes it well suited for the Canadian climate. Our propane/natural gas hoses are supplied only as pre-made, factory-tested assemblies that conform to applicable CSA requirements. These hoses may also be used for natural gas in outdoor, open, and well-ventilated areas where permitted. Important Safety Information Propane and natural gas hoses cannot be repaired, cut and shortened, extended, or re-crimped. Damaged hoses should always be replaced. For safety and CSA compliance, Allan’s Hose N’ All does not manufacture or modify propane/natural gas hose assemblies in-house. These assemblies must be ordered through our approved suppliers and undergo the required CSA testing using specialized equipment.
